I join millions of our great party members and leaders , Peoples Democratic Party in Congratulating the former Vice President,  Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on his emergence as the PDP presidential candidate for 2023 general election. Atiku Abubakar is a man who has managed human and material resources successfully, yet remained humble and broadminded. A man who has broken religious and tribal lines to make his name a household name in all nooks and crannies of our country, deserves people support. Nigeria needs men like Atiku, who can remain firm, unbowed and resolute in the face of trying times. He has proved that he has character under trial, and not just when the going is good.

Atiku Abubakar is unassuming, calm, welcoming, tolerant, sensitive, has listening ears but still firm and courageous, and will use his wealth of experience from private and public sector to RESCUE,  RE-DIRECT and RE- BUILD Nigeria from inept and gloomy administration. We need this man, to lead this great nation to our destined position in Africa and the world. The forthcoming general election is reclamation battle to ensure the people are freed from the pangs of poverty, deprivation and bad governance. Atiku will make haste to the yearnings and aspirations of all and sundry without discrimination or prejudice. Congratulations Once Again

The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Akogun Lere Oyewumi, flanked by Yeye Akogun Omolara Oyewumi and political leaders today attended Commissioner For Energy, Hon. Festus Ademola Adeyemo thanksgiving at Union Baptist Church, Mojoun area, Ikire. The Pastor noted that Akogun Lere's victory was an act of God already designed for that purpose, and called on the congregation to support the new representation to bring the much-desired positive change that would impact the lives of the people.
